Anchored in Grace

Sermon Series:
This series explores how the letter to the Hebrews speaks to us today about holding fast to our faith, living in response to God’s grace, and embodying gratitude in all areas of life. Each week draws from Hebrews and complements the Revised Common Lectionary texts for July 2025 (Year C). This sermons series is based on the book “Hebrews: Grace and Attitude”

July 6 @ 10:30 am 12:00 pm

Text: Hebrews 1:1–4; 2:1–4

Theme: God’s grace is revealed fully in Jesus, the radiance of God’s glory.

Focus: Because of God’s self-revealing love in Christ, we are called not to drift but to anchor ourselves in the message of salvation.

In a world that constantly pulls us in different directions, it’s easy to drift—spiritually, emotionally, and even relationally. The letter to the Hebrews reminds us that God has spoken clearly and finally through Jesus Christ, the One who radiates God’s glory and embodies God’s grace. This week, we reflect on what it means to be anchored in that grace—firm, secure, and unwavering—so that we do not drift away from the hope and truth we have heard. Join us as we return to the steady center of our faith: the unchanging grace of God in Christ.
