Our Beliefs
We are a United Methodist Church—a community of faith following Jesus Christ, shaped by Scripture, and rooted in God’s grace. We seek to live with open hearts, open minds, and open doors.
God’s Grace Is for Everyone – We believe in God’s amazing grace—active in our lives before we know it (prevenient grace), saving us through Christ (justifying grace), and helping us grow in love and faith every day (sanctifying grace). Grace is at the heart of everything we do.
We Follow Jesus Christ – We believe Jesus is God’s Son, who lived, died, and rose again to bring us forgiveness, healing, and hope. Through Him, we are made new and invited to live as disciples—loving God and neighbor.
We Are Guided by the Bible – The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the foundation of our faith. We read it through the lenses of tradition, reason, and experience, trusting the Holy Spirit to lead us into truth.
We Celebrate Two Sacraments – Baptism – A sign of God’s grace and our welcome into God’s family. Holy Communion – A sacred meal where we remember Christ’s love and are nourished by His presence
We Are Called to Serve – Our faith is lived out in acts of compassion, justice, and love. We care for the poor, welcome the stranger, and work for peace and reconciliation in our communities and world.
A Place for You – We believe every person is created in God’s image and loved without exception. No matter your background, questions, or journey—you are welcome here.
